On coming Sunday, you can be able to see the glowing Saturn in the night sky.
On August 1 and 2, Earth
will be located between Saturn and sun, which is the suitable position to see
glowing Saturn in the night sky. Where Saturn will be most luminous, and gives
a brilliant night sky view.
According to EarthSky, Saturn's
opposition is at 2 a.m. ET on August 2, or 11 p.m. PT for those on the West
Coast.
Jupiter will be the
brightest thing in the night sky when Venus sinks below the horizon after the
sun set. Just look west of Jupiter to find Saturn.
Saturn will be visible
once it reaches its northern hemisphere summer solstice.
You need a telescope to
catch out the glowing rings of the Saturn.
No need to worry if you
miss this time, Saturn will remain bright in the sky for the rest of the month.
You can see glowing Saturn at that time.
According to NASA, Saturn is the sixth planet from the sun, and it would take nine Earths to span the diameter of the gaseous planet, and that's not including the rings.
